Mothers' Union

Mothers’ Union’s aim is to encourage family life and be able to help in times of need, worldwide, nationally and in our local area. Our branch needs to encourage more members (men as well as ladies) if we are to continue in this objective. We give thanks for all those who have shown interest in these aims and pray that more people in our church may see that they too may join and enjoy the fellowship as we continue to grow and become a vibrant outreach from St James’.

We usually meet three times each month, the first Wednesday for Holy Communion, the third Tuesday for a meeting where we normally have a visiting speaker and the last Wednesday for prayer. Our members are keen to support many of the church’s activities either practically or by regularly praying for those involved in outreach.

More information can be obtained from our national webpage www.mothersunion.org. If you would like to find out more about St. James’ Mothers’ Union please call the parish office on 01757 709678 or email parish.office.stjames@gmail.com and we will be happy to contact you.
